Construction and landscaping projects I have been involved with varied from simple and quaint, to extravagant. One was creating Ideas for HRH, (His Royal Highness) The Prince of Tonga's Palace in 1993. I was commissioned for this project by friends who were general contractors on the construction of the palace. Requesting Ideas to be used for the grounds surrounding, and leading up to this beautiful home, I was asked to design a plan and import 1000 Italian cypress for this project. I flew to Tonga and toured the Island picking local plant material that could be grown for future planting around the Palace.
Opportunities have taken me to points all over California, from San Francisco, Los Gatos, Sebastapool, Palm Springs. Along the coastal areas to the Deserts and the foothills below the Sierra Nevada. I like to bring a fresh approach to each garden, and think outside the boundaries that bring exciting dimensions to each and every garden.
