I offer farm raised and Imported for your pond. Located in Shingle Springs, just a short
30 min drive from Sacramento.
Seeing
a koi that is in your care thrive and become more beautiful as it matures, is undoubtedly one of the greatest joys
of koi keeping. A koi whose color, pattern and body are fully developed is often referred to as being “finished”.
The process of finishing requires basic care, a healthy environment, and good diet.
Although koi are sometimes regarded as being expensive, you will find that smaller, unfinished,
and undeveloped koi can often be purchased quite reasonably. The development of a koi often depends on the keeper’s
level of care and determination. It is important, of course, to start with a koi that has some potential, but a
good environment is the recipe for good results.
Just give it a try. Watching your koi as it develops is certain to draw you further and further
into the world of koi.
